Reports indicate that beloved actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.

An Important Reunion for Fans

The duo are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. It is believed their appearance will probably be featured in a flash-forward sequence, given that the original saga concluded with their characters settled into family life.

Sunrise on the Reaping is based upon a recent book by author Suzanne Collins. It acts as the second prequel film after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Once again is Francis Lawrence, who directed most of the previous films in the series.
