The Brazilian star Extends Apology to Real Madrid Devotees
The attacker has scored five strikes in ten La Liga appearances so far this term.
The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his conduct when substituted in Sunday's intense El Clasico win.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd minute and showed his disappointment by going straight off the pitch.
Vinicius eventually reappeared to the dugout and, after his club's 2-1 win, attempted to approach Barça's opposing player during unsavoury post-match incidents.
"Today I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was replaced in the big match," he wrote on social media.
"In the same way as I have said in person during this morning's training, I would like to apologise again to my team-mates, the club, and the club president.
"Sometimes fervor takes over me because I constantly desire to triumph and help my club. My competitive character originates in the passion I feel for this institution and each thing it represents."
Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from his former club in recent years for £38.7m and has notched 111 goals in numerous matches.
But his future in the La Liga is unclear with rumors in lately suggesting that Los Blancos would consider letting the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a good proposal.
When Vinicius was replaced on that day, cameras from broadcaster the service picked him up saying: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's preferable if I go, I'm leaving."
In his latest post on social media, he stated: "I vow to keep striving constantly for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have acted since the first day."
